I am originally from Matamoros, Mexico, and studied graphic design at the Universidad de Monterrey where I lived before moving to Austin in 2019. Karmita originally started as a hobby thanks to the pandemic, but it has now become my full-time project. My small business offers planters of different shapes and sizes as well as other hand-painted items. The designs are characterized by shapes in vibrant colors, in addition to my love for painting eyes which is a common theme among the unique pieces. I hope my designs help to brighten everyone’s homes and bring more color into their lives. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)
